Raising Funds to Help Children with Disabilities in Wartime
Today, when the war entered the lives of Ukrainian children with its horror, brought suffering and left wounds in everyone's soul, our hearts are filled with painful feelings and anxiety for the future of children, especially children with disabilities. We, the "Association for the Defense of the Rights of People with Disabilities in Ukraine», express our deep feelings and turn to you with sincere hope for your support in the implementation of our main mission - helping people with disabilities.
The events of the war have a psycho-traumatic effect on children, which is later manifested by anxiety and terrible dreams, memories that come to mind unbidden and cause emotional distress. That is why the most important thing for now is timely psychological help from highly qualified specialists, as well as rehabilitation, which involves overcoming physical and mental disorders.
Unfortunately, every day children with disabilities face obstacles that prevent them from adapting and living a full life: attending school, receiving qualified medical care, working in children's creative centers, etc. These obstacles make life even more difficult and add to the feeling of being rejected by society.
The non-governmental organization "Association for the Defense of the Rights of People with Disabilities in Ukraine" works to change this, strives to provide children with everything they need and preserve their carefree childhood. We develop and implement projects aimed at both humanitarian aid and psychological support and physical rehabilitation. We believe that every child deserves a bright future full of opportunity and joy.
Our organization, together with the Department of Social Protection of the Population of Holosiivska District State Administration in the city of Kyiv, implements a project on the rehabilitation of children with disabilities, as part of which a trip for children with disabilities to Germany will be organized.
Currently, there is a need for funds for tickets for a group of children with special needs, so we ask everyone who cares to do a good deed and join in closing the raise money, because every donation, whether big or small, has a great value.
