Humanitarian assistance was provided to people with visual impairments in Obukhov
Another small but important step in the implementation of our mission took place — a team of volunteers and representatives went to Obukhivsk UVP UTOS with the mission of providing charitable assistance and support to people with visual impairments.
As part of this visit, the NGO provided humanitarian aid that will help facilitate the lives of citizens with disabilities. War veterans, combatants, and people with disabilities have access to a variety of medical and psychological resources.
«This was an important step for our organization. We feel a great responsibility to the community, so we are working to provide comprehensive support and assistance to those who need it», — said Yan Gladkyi, President of the NGO «ADRPDU».
On the territory of the city of Obukhiv, there is an Obukhiv training and production enterprise of the Ukrainian Society of the Blind, where more than 80 disabled people work. With the director of the UTOS Gel Viktor Mikheyevich we discussed the needs and realities of today, which members of the society and people with visual impairments face.
Such a charitable trip not only brought the organization closer to the local community, but also demonstrated the importance of joint action to achieve positive changes in people's lives. The non-governmental organization plans to continue such initiatives and expand the circle of assistance.
